Founder Kakubhai Sheth joined the optical field on 18’th April 1968. His first establishment named as S.B.K Corp was started in 1976. He was an all India wholesaler as well as retailer of that era. In 1985, he started another venture called as ‘Kakubhai & Bros’ which supplied optics, all over India & Nepal. In 1988, he owned a retail shop opposite Jain temple, Kandivali West. In January 2004, full retail showroom (including contact lens in the product list) was opened with name as ‘KAKUBHAI OPTICALS’®, Near ICICI Bank, Shantilal Modi road, Kandivali West. With the years of experience, he has become exceptional expertise in the optical field.

Mrs Keyur Sheth has done BBA in Marketing and MBA in Finance. Dynamic and Lively, she assists Mr Kaku Bhai Sheth in administrating the Office, through her Management and Financial Skills. Since five years, she has expertly Advertised, Marketed and Managed Various Optical Brands and Products.
She has graduated in Bachelor of optometry. She has certification in IACLE ( International Association of Contact Lens Educator) course. She examines the eyes, tests the sight and prescribes spectacles or contact lenses to those as per need. With her experience of 12 years , she detects any ocular disease or abnormality and if necessary refers the patient to a medical practitioner.
